This website has been created by Service User members of the North London and South London & South East MHRN hubs (regions) Patient and Public Involvement Advisory Board.

The mission statement for the MHRN North London and South London & South East hubs Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) Advisory Group.

“The mission of the MHRN North London and South London & South East hubs Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) Advisory Group is to collaborate with Service Users in Research (SUiR) and Families/Friends & Carers Together in Research (FACTOR) to support and improve the quality of MHRN research projects by promoting, managing, and embedding service-user involvement within the work of the hubs and its partners. The PPI Advisory Group of the 2 hubs welcomes the involvement of service-users and carers of any age who are enthusiastic to work with the diverse

communities, ethnicities, and identities that make up contemporary London, the South East of England, and Oxfordshire.”

‘Research is a core part of the NHS. It enables the NHS to improve the current and future health of the people it serves. The NHS will do all it can to ensure that patients, from every part of England, are made aware of research that is of particular relevance to them’
